¡Muy Auténtico Records! is a DIY record label based out of Riverside, Ca.
Running a record label was always something that interested me. I love punk rock but I can’t play an instrument and I can’t song, so doing the label thing just sorta made sense. Sometime around Spring of 2008 I decided I actually wanted to put out a 7″. My good friend Andy decided he wanted in on this lucrative money making action as well, and so, ¡Muy Auténtico Records! records was born.
Amazingly, this has been a group effort. Forget the money Andy and I have dumped into this losing venture, there is no way we could have lasted this long without the invaluable help of one Mono Duran.
I’m also sorta convinced that we only continue to put stuff out at this point just to see what sorta funny shit Bill Pinkel will doodle for us next.
