Joyce Manor and Summer Vacation are two of the most exciting and fun bands in California. This is the first vinyl release for each band and I have a feeling we’re going to see a lot more from each band as they each bring a refreshing take on their own brand of DIY punk rock. I’m extremely proud to have been a part of this release.

I’ve heard some pretty off the wall comparisons made for each band, but if you ask me, Joyce Manor kinda sounds like early Weezer if they were more into punk than indie radio rock bullshit. Summer Vacation are, in my mind, reminiscent of slop-punk bands like the Bananas or Hickey. I don’t know, I’m bad at comparisons, but I think these are more accurate than some of the weird ones I’ve heard.
